Take TransCanada Hwy/BC 1 Eastbound and take Exit 99 (Cole Road).
Slight right onto South Parallel Rd for 3km.
Turn right onto No. 4 Rd.
Turn right onto Marion Rd.
Look for parking signage.

When travelling to a destination
west of Abbotsford:

Depart from Lakeland south on Marion to Wells Line.
Continue on Wells Line until it turns into Fadden Rd and then into Nelles Rd. (past Birchwood Dairy)
Turn Right on Whatcom to continue to Hwy 1.

Coming from East Of Abbotsford:

Take TransCanada Hwy/BC-1 Westbound and take Exit 104 ( No. 3 Rd)
Turn left onto No. 3 Rd
Turn right onto S. Parallel Rd.
Turn left onto Marion Rd.

What is the Abbotsford Tulip Festival?

The Abbotsford Tulip Festival is an offering inviting the public to visit and enjoy the gorgeous spectacle of a working flower farm – Lakeland Flowers. The tulip fields on display during the Abbotsford Tulip Festival span 27 acres and  showcase 70 varieties of tulips, including double, fringed, and parrot varieties, across a dazzling 5 million flowering bulbs!

The Abbotsford Tulip Festival is just one part of a 6 month flower offering at Lakeland Flowers, that begins with tulips from April to May, peonies from May to June, lavender from June to August, and sunflowers from June to September!

What is the Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival?

Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival is the largest summer floral experience in the Lower Mainland. Guests are invited to wander through 45 acres of lavender, sunflowers, buckwheat, phacelia, and feature flowers. Admission includes access to our 20 acre sunflower field featuring a u-pick field where guests can select and cut their own 5-stem sunflower bunch!

The Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival is part of Lakeland’s 6 month flower offering at Lakeland Flowers, that begins with tulips from April to May, peonies from May to June, lavender from June to August, and sunflowers from June to September!

Is the Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival mobility aid and stroller accessible?

We love for our guests with mobility aids and strollers to have the best experience at Lakeland Flowers. However, we recommend that our guests be able to comfortably walk 1km without assistance to get the best experience. Wheel chairs that are not suitable for uneven ground are not recommended.

Our field walkways are on grass or dirt which can sometimes be uneven or muddy. We recommend that if you use a mobility aid or stroller, that you visit us on a day when we’ve had a few days without rain. Please check our Field Report and/or social media for an update on our accessibility status.

Please note that the Summer Flower Festival spans 45 acres! Bring suitable shoes for walking!

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Yes! Tickets can be purchased with Cash or Credit Card at the gate.  See all ticket pricing here.

What if it's raining?

The Abbotsford Summer Flower Festival operates rain or shine! Please dress appropriately for the weather – this includes considering appropriate footwear for the conditions! See our Field Report to get an idea of walkway conditions.

Will the whole sunflower field be in bloom?

No, we planted our sunflowers in blocks sequentially over the the spring and early summer. This way, you will always have sunflowers in bloom when you come to Lakeland. Please stay tuned to our social media or check our Field Report for updates on field status before purchasing tickets to get an idea of what our fields currently look like.

Will I be able to get a refund if I can't attend?

All tickets are final sale.
Please feel free to gift your tickets to your friends or family if you cannot attend.

Is there a discount for children?

Children 3 and under are free!

Is there a baby changing station?

We are excited to be offering a baby changing station for all those families attending our event with little ones.

Are you dog friendly?

Absolutely! We ask that your dog remains on leash at all times and that you clean up after them. Failure to do so will result in removal from the property.

Will there be food trucks?

It’s in the works! We are looking to have food trucks available for our guests on Saturdays and Sundays! Please check our socials for the most up to date Food Truck Schedule.

Can I pick my own sunflowers?

Yes! Admission includes 5 stems from our sunflower u-pick field!

Where can I park?

We offer free parking on-site! The parking area is located near 3663 Marion Rd, as seen on Google Maps. Turn south onto Marion Rd from No. 4 Rd, then look for signs marking the entrance to the designated parking area.
